Who can contribute to this blog?

HDR students (PhD, Masters, Honours) and Early Career Researchers (ECR) are encouraged to contribute to this blog.

What sort of blogs are encouraged?

Submissions for the blog can be in any of the following categories:

  1. Works in progress (e.g. proposals, current projects, works in development and preparation, papers being submitted or reviewed, seeking collaborations).
  2. Completed projects (e.g. findings, results, conclusions, recommendations).
  3. Reflections on research practice (e.g. doing research, learning, being a PhD or ECR, tips, advice and guidance).
  4. Field Education Research
  5. Think pieces (e.g. critical reviews, problematisations, conceptual analyses, reflections on theory and methodology).

How long many words should the blog be?

800 – 1200 words including references, plus contact details and links to professional websites (preference is Email, or links to Research Gate, AcademiaEdu, Google Scholar, University Homepage, Twitter, for example).

Will the curators edit my blog?

Only technical proofing. The curators reserve the right not to publish libellous, defamatory, offensive or unethical content.

How long will I have to prepare their blog for submission?

Once your EOI has been approved, we recommend you submit your blog via email within 6 weeks. Blogs will be published at the discretion and timing decided by the curators in accordance with the needs of publication. Authors will be advised of when their blog will be published.
